Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines are welcoming spring with new seasonal in-flight menus that bring fresh ingredients, thoughtful sourcing, and chef-driven creativity to their networks. Both airlines are introducing refreshed offerings for pre-order across both First Class and the Main Cabin.
Alaska Airlines’ updated First Class menu includes:
- Banana Crêpes
- Lemon Pesto Spaghetti with Grilled Chicken
- Lemongrass Pork Sandwich
Also returning by popular demand are longtime guest favorites such as Parmesan Eggs & Bacon for breakfast and the Tillamook Cheeseburger.

One of the headline additions for Alaska’s Main Cabin on medium- and long-haul flights is Beecher’s Mac & Cheese. It has been created in partnership with the iconic Seattle cheesemaker located in Pike Place Market.
Alaska’s culinary team spent nearly two years developing an onboard version of Beecher’s beloved dish, which was previously recognized as one of Oprah’s Favorite Things. Featuring Beecher’s award-winning Flagship cheese, penne pasta, and a crisp breadcrumb topping, the meal delivers a comfort-food classic reimagined for flight. I’ve had it in Seattle and it’s excellent.
As the first US domestic airline to launch a comprehensive food pre-order program, Alaska continues to offer more fresh dining choices on domestic routes than any other US carrier. Guests can pre-order meals up to 14 days in advance and until about 20 hours before departure. Flights over 1,100 miles include at least one hot meal option as well as choices like the Signature Fruit & Cheese Platter.
Alaska is also expanding its Evergreens menu this season with Med In The Clouds, a Mediterranean-inspired, plant-forward dish featuring quinoa, a lettuce base, fresh vegetables, olives, and a lemon-tahini dressing.
Main Cabin travelers will also see a new Antipasto Platter. It offers cured meats, candied walnuts, and marinated mozzarella balls. The full spring menu cycle will be available onboard beginning February 25th.

Hawaiian Airlines is also switching up its domestic First Class dining with a refreshed menu created by Honolulu-born chef Robynne Maii. She is a long-time culinary partner of the airline and known for her locally rooted and comforting approach.
First Class guests traveling from Hawaii to the US mainland can enjoy new island-inspired dishes including:
- Smoked Mozzarella Frittata with Portuguese Sausage and Fresh Fruit
- Basil Caesar Salad with Roasted Chicken and Ginger Scallion Fried Rice
- Beef and Kimchi Hand Pie
- Ratatouille Parmesan Baked Ziti
- Lasagna alla Norma
Inbound First Class meals to Hawaii will remain under the direction of Chef Wade Ueoka of Honolulu’s MW restaurant. New selections include:
- Braised Miso Beef
- Grilled Kalbi with Kimchi Fried Rice
- Mushroom Risotto Cakes
- Pasta in a White Wine Cream Sauce
- Vegetable Cobb Salad
Anthony’s Take: With these spring menu launches, Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines are reinforcing their focus on premium dining and expanded pre-order convenience. These menus sound delicious and I wish I flew Alaska to be able to try some of these dishes.
