Marriott Bonvoy® has officially announced its first global systemwide promotion for 2026. It gives members a valuable opportunity to earn bonus points and accelerate elite status progress this spring with bonus Elite Night Credits.

The new offer provides 2,500 bonus Marriott Bonvoy® points per stay along with an additional incentive that rewards travelers for exploring different Marriott brands. Members can also earn one Elite Night Credit for each different Marriott Bonvoy® brand where they complete a stay during the promotional period (February 25th and May 10th).

Marriott Brands

This combination makes the promotion especially appealing for frequent travelers who book short stays (like me) as well as those willing to strategically split longer trips into multiple one-night stays across different brands.

Under the promotion, members will earn:

  • 2,500 bonus Marriott Bonvoy® points for every eligible stay completed worldwide
  • One Elite Night Credit for each different Marriott Bonvoy® brand stayed at during the promo period

This structure encourages brand variety and hotel hopping while allowing travelers to stack rewards faster than with a standard points-only promotion. These must be paid stays as award nights do not count.

Marriott Promo 1

Members must register to participate. This seems to have launched early as I was just able to register through the app (while the site is giving me an error). Registration officially opens tomorrow, February 10th.

Anthony’s Take: This is a pretty cool promotion. I love that one-night stays count and this has the fun element of trying to stay at as many brands as possible.

One-night stays and brand hopping are not fun for the frequent traveler.

That’s the way most of my biz travel is and this helps gamify it at least.
