JetBlue Airways and the New York Jets kicked off the 2025 football season by unveiling a brand-new Jets-themed aircraft livery at New York John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK) today. The refreshed Airbus A320, named “J! E! T! B! L! U! E!” after the team’s game-day chant, is designed with the Jets’ 2025 season branding in bright green and white.
The aircraft reveal took place inside JetBlue’s Terminal 5. It included a gate-side celebration hosted by SNY’s Jeané Coakley. The event featured appearances by Jets stars and legends, including:
- Jeremy Ruckert, Tight End
- Quincy Williams, Linebacker
- Marty Lyons, Jets Legend
- Erik Coleman, Jets Legend
Passengers on the inaugural flight were treated to a special gameday experience, which included exclusive photo opportunities and autograph sessions with the players as well as Jets-themed gift bags at their seats (filled with branded shirts and hats). The celebration brought together JetBlue executives, Jets leadership, and fans to officially launch the airline’s latest sports partnership milestone.
This marks JetBlue’s third Jets-themed aircraft and continues a long-standing tradition of combining aviation with sports fandom. JetBlue and the New York Jets have shared a strong partnership for over 15 years. This has included JetBlue being named the Official Airline of the New York Jets back in 2009, the launch of “JetGreen” (the first-ever sports-themed aircraft in JetBlue’s fleet in 2010), an updated livery introduced to modernize the collaboration in 2017, and joint marketing campaigns, in-stadium activations, and exclusive fan promotions through the years.
Stephanie Evans Greene, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Brand at JetBlue, said:
JetBlue has always been proud to call New York home, and no team embodies the passion and spirit of this city quite like the New York Jets,. This refreshed livery is more than a new design; it’s a symbol of hometown pride. As the Jets take the field this season, this aircraft will take to the skies as a tribute to our shared roots that we’re proud to represent every day.”
Anthony’s Take: I’m not a football fan, but I love custom liveries. JetBlue has done a great job with everything from Dunkin’ to Super Mario of Nintendo fame and many others through the years.
