JetBlue, like most airlines, offers a booking service for travelers to add rental cars, hotels, and more to their trips. In 2018, JetBlue created a wholly owned subsidiary to offer non-air products. This was called “JetBlue Travel Products.” The corporate entity changed names in June to become “Paisly by JetBlue.” Now, the the consumer-facing part of the offering is rebranding once again and becoming “TrueBlue Travel™.” It’s a bit confusing with the naming, but Paisly by JetBlue is the corporate name and also the technology platform powering both TrueBlue Travel™ and JetBlue Vacations (both of which passengers can book travel on).

TrueBlue Travel™ offers TrueBlue® members a seamless way to book and earn rewards across all parts of their trip. Members can now use points for JetBlue flights, hotel stays, flight + hotel packages, and car rentals booked through the platform. JetBlue’s loyalty program is aligned with TrueBlue Travel to simplify trip planning and boosts rewards (even when members aren’t flying with JetBlue). The launch supports JetBlue’s broader JetForward strategy to grow as a customer-first travel brand and will see United Airlines move its website and mobile app’s hotel, rental car, cruise, and travel insurance sales capabilities to JetBlue’s platform in the future.

To celebrate this rebranding, members earn 2x tiles on hotel and car bookings made via TrueBlue Travel™ from August 5th to 8th for trips completed by November 30th (see more here).

Jamie Perry, President of Paisly, LLC, said:

This rebrand is a major milestone for Paisly, LLC as we continue to grow into a fully integrated travel services company. It reflects what customers already expect: a platform that delivers unbeatable value for TrueBlue members, from earning and redeeming points to using JetBlue Plus and Premier Card benefits. With the addition of hotel and car redemption, TrueBlue Travel offers one seamless place to plan and book an entire trip, backed by the service JetBlue is known for. It also highlights how Paisly’s platform can support future partners looking to deliver a loyalty-led travel experience.”

Anthony’s Take: I always book hotels direct to earn my elite benefits with a given program, but rental cars are another story and this presents an opportunity if you’re chasing JetBlue status and looking to earn more points.
