Netflix has been upping its experiential game recently. Earlier this year, it opened NETFLIX BITES at the MGM Grand. The Netflix-themed restaurant offers cuisine inspired by popular Netflix shows. Now, it has cemented plans to launch two massive, 100,000-square-foot installations in Philadelphia at King of Prussia Mall and in Dallas at Galleria Dallas in late 2025. I first shared the news about these interactive experiences back in June 2024.
Prior to NETFLIX BITES and the Netflix Houses, it dipped its toes into smaller experiential activations with pop-ups for shows like Bridgerton, Stranger Things and Squid Game. It’s now planning something much larger. The Netflix Houses will take over former department stores (each measuring more than 100,000 square feet) at the King of Prussia Mall and the Galleria Dallas and offer permanent, year-round spaces for fans of popular shows and movies like Wednesday, Squid Game, ONE PIECE, Stranger Things, and Knives Out. The Las Vegas location is set to open in 2027.
What can fans expect at a Netflix House? You’ll get to play interactive games like “Red Light, Green Light” out of Squid Game or rescue a few friends from the demogorgon in Hawkins, IN. NETFLIX BITES like the current restaurant will offer dishes inspired by the shows and movies. Mini golf and an exclusive gift shop round out the offerings.
Marian Lee, Netflix’s Chief Marketing Officer, said:
Finally, a place where the Netflix story you can’t get enough of becomes something real that you can play, shop and taste. This is fandom coming to life, where you can actually step inside the worlds you’ve been watching and loving for years – whether going on an epic adventure with the Straw Hats, taking a journey into Hawkins, Indiana, or grabbing a cocktail inspired by your latest obsession. With fresh experiences dropping regularly, there’s always a new reason to come back. We are thrilled to welcome our new neighbors in Philadelphia, Dallas, and Las Vegas to explore Netflix in a whole new light, enhanced by the unique charm and culture of each city.”
Experiences will vary by location. In Philadelphia, fans can experience:
- Wednesday: Eve of the Outcasts
- ONE PIECE: Quest for the Devil Fruit:
- Netflix Virtuals (VR Games)
- Top 9 (Mini Golf)
- TUDUM Theater
The Dallas location will offer:
- Stranger Things: Escape the Dark
- Squid Game: Survive the Trials
- Netflix RePLAY
Anthony’s Take: Both locations sound like a lot of fun and I hope to check one or both out in the future. With my travel schedule it’s likely I’ll get to the Vegas one first in 2027, but who knows? I love activations like these.
