We spent the weekend in Mexico City and flew nonstop from Tampa International Airport (TPA). Aeromexico launched this route back in July and I love the convenience of being able to go there without connections. I reviewed the outbound flight here. The return flight was on the same aircraft type with nothing really different. Instead of another flight review, I thought I’d share my thoughts on the meal service in Clase Premier. We each tried one option.

Aeromexico Ravioli 2

The Cheese Ravioli were served with artichokes and sun dried tomatoes in a cream sauce. They were probably not the healthiest, but very tasty.

This was served with a choice of bread (I selected focaccia), spinach salad with pears, blue cheese, and walnuts as well as chocolate cake. Everything was delicious.

Aeromexico Stuffed Chicken 2

My husband had the Stuffed Chicken. It was filled with vegetables and he enjoyed it.

The tray came with the same items as the Cheese Ravioli.

Aeromexico Chocolate Cake

The chocolate cake was layered with mousse and ganache.

My only gripe with Aeromexico’s catering is its beverage selection. There is no ginger ale and without that I was left to drink apple juice. My husband was happy with the wines he sampled.

A snack basket was also served after the meal. This is a nice offering on just a three-hour flight.

Anthony’s Take: Aeromexico offers a nice meal that tastes good and is quite filling. Its preorder service leaves a bit to be desired since the lists of who ordered what were not provided, but we were happy with the meals we were given.
