Resy has announced the next phase of its reservation and dining platform. It revealed plans today to integrate the Tock venue network into Resy this summer. The move will create a single expanded destination for restaurant reservations and hospitality experiences with more than 25,000 venues bookable through Resy.

The integration will bring Tock’s portfolio of fine dining restaurants and more than 1,200 wineries onto the Resy platform, significantly broadening its reach in premium culinary experiences. Once the integration is complete, some of the country’s most acclaimed restaurants currently bookable on Tock will appear on Resy. These include MICHELIN-starred and award-winning destinations such as Alinea in Chicago, Atomix in New York City, Lazy Bear in San Francisco, Canlis in Seattle, and Blue Hill at Stone Barns in Westchester County.

The expanded network will also include leading wineries such as Scribe Winery in Sonoma, Heitz Cellar in Napa Valley, Ridge Vineyards in Healdsburg, and Antica Terra in Oregon’s Willamette Valley.

Resy’s 60 million registered users will gain access to Tock’s signature features (including tiered and prepaid experiences). This opens up more tasting menus, winery tours, chef-led events, and specialty dining experiences within the Resy app and on its site.

The Tock consumer app and site will be retired. Tock venues will operate under the Resy brand. However, Tock’s restaurant management software will continue operating and become part of the broader Resy product suite.

Beyond the consumer-facing changes, Resy plans to further connect its venue network with American Express Card products, digital channels, and loyalty infrastructure. The company also intends to integrate with key technology partners to build a comprehensive hospitality tech stack that includes AI-powered discovery and booking, table and guestbook management, ticketing and transactions, point-of-sale data, customer relationship management tools, and American Express membership integration.

In 2026, Resy plans to release upgraded APIs for third-party partners, including generative AI platforms, allowing reservation inventory to appear across more digital channels. A new CRM API will also connect Resy with restaurant tools such as Loyalist, which helps venues personalize marketing and strengthen guest relationships.

As part of a broader strategic partnership, Resy and Toast are working to connect their platforms to provide deeper guest insights directly to restaurant staff. Reservations are expected to become bookable within the Local by Toast app, which increases visibility for shared customers. Later in 2026, the companies plan to integrate Toast’s Digital Chits feature with Resy’s guestbook. This enables restaurants to view guest notes, preferences, and milestones directly within Toast point-of-sale systems and handheld devices. The integration is designed to help staff deliver more personalized service, from recalling a regular’s favorite wine to recognizing special occasions, without adding operational complexity.

Resy and American Express will continue supporting major industry events and initiatives in 2026 (including Amex Trade at The Aspen Food & Wine Classic, The Chef Assembly, the FAB Conference, and the Southern Smoke Festival). These efforts reflect a broader commitment to investing in hospitality through both technology and community engagement.

American Express Card Members will continue to receive exclusive access to curated dining events and experiences through Resy. Planned 2026 offerings include insider access events such as table opportunities at Mt. Rubirosa in Aspen, chef-driven pop-ups in New York City and Chicago, and Platinum Nights experiences at high-demand restaurants including Ha’s Snack Bar, COQODAQ, Mandolin Aegean Bistro, and COTE Miami.

The Resy Credit will also expand to select former Tock venues in 2026. This is great and I love that I have several cards that offer Resy credits.

Anthony’s Take: I still find myself using OpenTable more, but with the integration of Tock, Resy is positioning itself as a more comprehensive hospitality platform that blends reservations, experiences, technology, and loyalty benefits into a single ecosystem.
