Greetings from Tampa. I’m home for the weekend after spending the week in Orlando and Cincinnati. Next week, it’s nice to have a few days of downtime as I’ll be in New York and Atlanta on business. This week’s travel news was dominated by the ongoing situation in the Middle East, but closer to home saw a strange smell shut down air traffic control in Washington, DC, Marriott make its free night certificates more valuable, Southwest exit a pair of United hubs, and more.
