The counters for loyalty programs all reset yesterday, but one program already shows me with credit for 40 nights for 2026. Those who have Marriott Bonvoy® credit cards issued by American Express should see the credits that these cards offer already posted to their accounts. Chase should be coming soon.

Marriott Bonvoy 2026

I have both the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant® American Express® Card and Marriott Bonvoy Business® Amex® Card. Combined, these cards give me 40 Elite Night Credits per year. I hold Lifetime Platinum status, but hit Titanium each year. This gives me the additional benefits of Nightly Upgrade Awards, the ability to get upgraded to suites at The Ritz-Carlton, and more.

How Many Nights Can You Earn From Holding Credit Cards?

Marriott Bonvoy® lets you credit nights from one personal and one business card. I have other Marriott cards, but those nights don’t count.

Which Cards Offer Elite Night Credits for Carrying Them?

  • Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card from Chase: 15 Elite Night Credits
  • Marriott Bonvoy Bold® Credit Card from Chase: 5 Elite Night Credits
  • Marriott Bonvoy Bevy® American Express® Card: 15 Elite Night Credits
  • Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant® American Express® Card: 25 Elite Night Credits (and automatic Marriott Bonvoy® Platinum Elite Status)
  • Marriott Bonvoy Business® Amex® Card: 15 Elite Night Credits

Anthony’s Take: These Elite Night Credits are a nice bonus for carrying these cards. I had 106 total nights in 2025, but without these cards I would have been at 66 nights and under the threshold for Titanium.
