I’ve spent this week at home enjoying the city of Chicago. This included a United MileagePlus® dinner on Monday and lots of time spent walking and taking in what might be the last of our warm weather here before we head down to Tampa for the winter in November.

United Chicken Vesuvio 1

Airlines

This week United announced fast, free Wi-Fi is coming, I tasted its Chicago regional meal, and Volaris, Air France, Aeromexico, and others added new routes.

Hyatt Regency Orlando 22

Hotels

I reviewed my second stay at the Hyatt Regency Orlando, the Thompson Palm Springs is finally taking reservations, and Marriott and Sotheby’s have partnered for some ultra-luxe travel auctions.

Virgin LAX 1

Lounges

The British are coming. Virgin Atlantic and British Airways have new lounges in the works.

United Torali Dinner 14

Destinations & Travel News

A nice dinner paid for with United MileagePlus® miles and my reflection on 9/11.

JetBlue JFK

Passengers Behaving Badly

A trio of passengers caused incidents in Ohio, Las Vegas, and New York.
