This week, I’m starting something new. Well, new for The Bulkhead Seat at least. I am going to begin creating weekly reviews to encapsulate all of the news, reviews, offers, and more covered on this site. I’ve seen this done by many other blogs that I admire and it’s time that I joined the party. We’re off to Corfu (Greece) and Sarande (Albania). Stay tuned for flight, lounge, and hotel reviews over the next week or so. Have a great weekend!

American 737 MAX

Airlines

This week saw multiple airlines announce new routes, United expand its Polaris pre-order routes, Microsoft and CrowdStrike fire back at Delta and more.

Hampton Birthday

Hotels

This week I wrote up two hotel reviews from my trip to Puglia, shared a way to earn 100 Marriott Bonvoy® points with your Starbucks, learned that the Moxy St. Pete has opened, and started craving Hampton by Hilton’s Birthday Cake Waffles for its 40th birthday.

TPA Terminal D

Lounges

There wasn’t a lot to share this week in the lounge beat. Korean Air will open a new lounge at New York John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK) when its new terminal is complete and Tampa International Airport (TPA) will also see a new terminal with two new lounges (excited for that one).

CLT Airport Parking

Destinations & Travel News

This week I shared that I’ll be traveling to Europe, covered the TSA PreCheck® 20-million-member milestone, and reported on a fire at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT).

Hair Over Seat

Passengers Behaving Badly

It wouldn’t be a week in travel without several passengers fighting, being added to the no-fly list, and even a pilot getting arrested before a flight. Sadly, one woman also committed suicide in the baggage carousel at Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD).

Anthony’s Take: I hope that you enjoyed reading all the news, reviews, and travel-related items that caught my eye this week. Thanks for your continued support of The Bulkhead Seat.
