A Frontier Airlines pilot was arrested and taken into custody just before a flight he was scheduled to fly was about to take off. The pilot, Seymour Walker, was wanted on an assault family violence warrant from the Department of Public Safety. Video taken from inside the terminal shows the pilot being led in handcuffs away from the aircraft at Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH).

The flight to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) was cancelled as Frontier could not provide a replacement crew member according to ABC 13. Passengers were deplaned before the pilot was arrested. Passengers were provided with the options of a full refund, airline credit, or a seat on the next available flight. Additionally, Frontier provided hotel accommodations (for passengers that needed them) and a $100 flight voucher.

Anthony’s Take: I can’t comment on the pilot’s warrant or that situation, but it has to be something to be deplaned and then watch a pilot led off in handcuffs.
