Escape Lounges are located in 21 airports globally with 15 of them in the United States and six in the United Kingdom. These have been accessible to cardholders with either the Platinum Card® from American Express or the Business Platinum Card from American Express and those paying cash to enter. The UK locations were also part of Priority Pass and now 11 of the US locations are as well (one had been included already).

The Priority Pass update page now shows the 11 US locations that those with Priority Pass memberships can access. These include:

The four locations that have not decided to accept Priority Pass at this time include:

  • Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (Terminal 3) (FLL)
  • Palm Beach International Airport (Concourse B) (PBI)
  • Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (Terminal 4) (PHX)
  • Reno/Tahoe International Airport (Concourse B-C Connector) (RNO)

These additions represent great news for Priority Pass holders, but American Express cardholders are likely to find larger crowds and possible waitlists in the future. The Chase Sapphire Reserve®, Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card, The Platinum Card® from American Express, and The Business Platinum Card from American Express offer Priority Pass memberships.

Anthony’s Take: I had access with my American Express card and will now be able to access these lounges with any of the three cards I carry with Priority Pass memberships.
