United Airlines flight UA2080 between Tampa International Airport (TPA) and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) saw a mix of wintery weather and the threat of severe turbulence force flight attendants to remain in their jumpseats for the entirety of the flight. This also meant that service was cancelled and lavatories remained locked so that no passengers could use the restroom for the whole 2.5-hour+ flight time.

A poster on Reddit shared the grisly details of the flight without lavatories that included a medical emergency being declared around Philadelphia and the situation was described as follows:

very obese young boy who they basically had to have two Port Authority officers slowly shuffle down the aisle. Was very sad. Kid ended up throwing up multiple times along the way. Blood present. Not pretty. That plane is now a biohazard. All of the people waiting to get on that plane are definitely not flying today.”

Thankfully, the aircraft made it to Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) safely and all of the passengers arrived without injuries.

Anthony’s Take: I spend half the year in Tampa and can tell you that on average 50% of the plane’s passenger composition is senior citizens. Bladder control is not the easiest with age and this must not have been a pleasant flight for anyone.
