Star Alliance released a new brand campaign called “Rhythm of Excellence” today. The almost two-minute spot shows off the seamless travel experience that can be had across Star Alliance’s 25 member airlines from booking to check-in to security to lounge visits and then actually flying these carriers around the world.

The campaign celebrates the behind-the-scenes harmony that makes travel across these partner airlines feel effortless and is set to a jazz score. The advertisement shows an interline journey across the Star Alliance network with airlines like Lufthansa, SWISS, EVA Air, Singapore Airlines, United Airlines, and more shown at various stages of the journey. This was filmed at Tokyo Narita International Airport (NRT) and Singapore Changi Airport. Overall, it’s a fun video and one that made me want to travel, which is intended purpose.

Renato Ramos, Vice President, Corporate Strategy at Star Alliance, said:

This campaign expresses the heart of our role and purpose as the enabler of seamless interline journeys. Customers mostly engage directly with our Members. It’s through their operations that our initiatives are brought to life — from check-in and baggage handling to lounge access and loyalty rewards. This rhythm, collectively built, truly defines this Alliance experience.”

Star Alliance Airlines

As mentioned, Star Alliance has 25 member airlines. I’ve flown 19 of them to date and largely enjoy the airlines that are part of this group.

Anthony’s Take: This is a fun and creative way to showcase the Star Alliance airlines. It served its intended purpose for me and made me want to travel while thinking about all of the carriers shown and the experiences I have had on many.
