Bilt is back with another Rent Day offer and this month the focus is on transfer bonuses to both Avianca LifeMiles and Virgin Atlantic Flying Club, as well as special cruise deals with Virgin Voyages. It’s nice to see Bilt back with some travel-related specials this month.
Each month, Bilt makes the first of the month fun. It offers bonus opportunities, chances to win points playing a trivia game, and even a contest to win free rent (up to $2,500) for what it calls “Rent Day.” Bilt’s next Rent Day occurs on Sunday, September 1st. Bilt is a great program with lots of transfer partners and these Rent Day promos make it even sweeter. I am using the Bilt Mastercard® to pay rent on my place in Florida again and love it.
Avianca LifeMiles Transfer Bonus
If you transfer Bilt Rewards points to LifeMiles on September 1st, you can earn a 50% bonus regardless of your Bilt status. There is no cap on the number of points that may be transferred. It’s interesting that this is not tiered by status the way that other transfer bonuses have been.
Virgin Atlantic Flying Club Transfer Bonus
This month, there is a second (and potentially more lucrative) transfer bonus with Virgin Atlantic Flying Club on September 1st. Like past promos, this one bases your bonus on your status with Bilt Rewards. Here is the breakdown:
- Platinum: 100% Bonus
- Gold: 60% Bonus
- Silver: 40% Bonus
- Blue: 20% Bonus
Virgin Voyages Bonus Offer
Again this month, Bilt and Virgin Voyages are teaming up for a special deal that’s only available through September 1st. This package includes:
- $100 bar tab
- Unlimited premium Wi-Fi
- Two specialty coffees per day
- Priority boarding
- Complimentary laundry service
- Exclusive cocktail experience
- Dedicated Sailor Services support
When you book a Sea Terrace, the second guest sails free. The terms include:
- Booking window: August 27th – September 1st

To be eligible for the benefits above, you must complete registration in the Bilt app after making your Virgin Voyages booking. Members need to enter their name, email, and booking reference number in the Bilt app.
Bonus Points
As always, on Rent Day you can earn bonus points. These include:
- 1 point per $1 spent on rent
- 2 points per $1 spent on travel (doubles to 4 points per $1)
- 3 points per $1 spent on dining (doubles to 6 points per $1)
- 1 point per $1 for all other spend (doubles to 2 points per $1)
RentFree™
This month, Bilt is welcoming Barstool Sports founder, Dave Portnoy, for its game show/contest. Bilt will pay ten people’s rent (up to $2,500) and provide the next 600 point prizes for the most guessed answers and the earliest replies. Bilt Neighborhood Dining Series
One of the newest perks for Bilt Rent Day is a series of all-inclusive dining experiences. Reservations start at $75 or 6,000 Bilt Points per guest. Reservations will open soon in the Bilt app. These are available on August 28th at 11:50 AM EST for Platinum members and 12:00 PM EST for all other members. In the past, I’ve seen great choices including Girl & the Goat in my Chicago neighborhood.
One Bite Pizza Festival Experience
Bilt is teaming up with Dave Portnoy’s One Bite Pizza Festival to offer tickets and a Bilt Living Room lounge at the event. The One Bite Pizza Festival takes place at New York’s Randall’s Island Park on September 14th. Bilt members can purchase tickets to the afternoon session from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and the evening session from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM. Afternoon session tickets cost $250 per person or 7,500 Bilt points. Evening session tickets cost $180 per person or 5,000 Bilt points. Tickets will be available to Bilt members at 12:00 PM EST on August 28th.
Anthony’s Take: I look forward to the games and bonuses offered on Rent Day each month. Bilt makes paying bills fun and the points earned are valuable given the number of transfer partners that Bilt currently offers. I’m happy to see more travel-related promos back this month.
