Bilt is back with another Rent Day offer and this month the focus is on granting Hilton Honors status, as well as special cruise deals with Virgin Voyages. It’s nice to see Bilt continuing with some travel-related specials this month.
Each month, Bilt makes the first of the month fun. It offers bonus opportunities, chances to win points playing a trivia game, and even a contest to win free rent (up to $2,500) for what it calls “Rent Day.” Bilt’s next Rent Day occurs today, November 1st. Bilt is a great program with lots of transfer partners and these Rent Day promos make it even sweeter. I am using the Bilt Mastercard® to pay rent on my place in Florida again and love it.
British Airways 50% to 100% Transfer Bonus
Today, Bilt Rewards is offering members the chance to transfer Bilt Rewards points to British Airways Executive Club with a 50% to 100% transfer bonus. Each member will be given a different bonus percentage and these do not appear to be based upon Bilt Rewards’ status like past transfer bonus amounts were allocated.
I got word earlier this week that if I choose to participate that I’ll receive a 100% bonus.
Martha Stewart Curated Collection
Martha Stewart has curated a collection of all sorts of home goods for the holiday season. These can be purchased for cash or points. Items can be purchased here.
Bonus Points
As always, on Rent Day you can earn bonus points. These include:
- 1 point per $1 spent on rent
- 2 points per $1 spent on travel (doubles to 4 points per $1)
- 3 points per $1 spent on dining (doubles to 6 points per $1)
- 1 point per $1 for all other spend (doubles to 2 points per $1)
RentFree™
This month, Bilt is welcoming Martha Stewart, for its game show/contest. Bilt will pay ten people’s rent (up to $2,500) plus a copy of Martha Stewart’s 100th book. The next 600 will win point prizes for the most guessed answers and the earliest replies. To enter, answer the question in the Bilt app and submit your answer by today, November 1st, here.
Bilt Neighborhood Dining Series
One of the newest perks for Bilt Rent Day is a series of all-inclusive dining experiences. Reservations start at $75 or 5,000 Bilt Points per guest. Reservations will open soon in the Bilt app. These were available starting on October 29th at 11:50 AM EST for Platinum members and 12:00 PM EST for all other members. In the past, I’ve seen great choices including Girl & the Goat in my Chicago neighborhood.
Anthony’s Take: I look forward to the games and bonuses offered on Rent Day each month. Bilt makes paying bills fun and the points earned are valuable given the number of transfer partners that Bilt currently offers. I’m curious to see what my British Airways transfer rate will be on the first.
