Bilt is back with another Rent Day offer and this is the fourth month in a row where the specials are pretty blah. I wasn’t interested in the Bilt Home Collection in May, fitness classes in April, or the March Madness offers. This will be the fourth month where there are no transfer bonuses or travel-related promos. This month, it’s all about dining with bonus points and some brunch specials.
Each month, Bilt makes the first of the month fun. It offers bonus opportunities, chances to win points playing a trivia game, and even a contest to win free rent (up to $2,500) for what it calls “Rent Day.” Bilt’s next Rent Day occurs today, Saturday, June 1st. Bilt is a great program with lots of transfer partners and these Rent Day promos make it even sweeter. I am using the Bilt Mastercard® to pay rent on my place in Florida again and love it.
10x Points at Neighborhood Dining Restaurants
This month, Bilt is celebrating the expansion of its Neighborhood Dinging program (now with over 20,000 restaurants). I covered this last week. Today, you’ll earn a minimum of 10x when you go to any Neighborhood Dining restaurant and pay with any linked card. This is in addition to your usual card rewards! This means you can earn up to 16x points for dining out. Activate the offer in the Bilt app between now and when you dine on the 1st. Once it’s activated, your point accelerator will be live until June 2nd at 3:00 AM EST. Bilt Platinum and Gold members will earn 10
rewards points for every $1 spent and Bilt Silver and Blue members will earn a total of
five rewards points for every $1 spent.
Bilt Brunch Experiences
Bilt is offering limited brunch reservations, which members can book for $50 to $75 or 4,000 to 6,000 Bilt points. These were bookable starting on May 29th (Platinum members start 12:00 PM EST, Gold at 12:10 PM EST, Silver at 12:20 PM EST, and Blue members can book at 12:30 PM EST. These experiences are taking place in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York.
Bonus Points
As always, on Rent Day you can earn bonus points. These include:
- 1 point per $1 spent on rent
- 2 points per $1 spent on travel (doubles to 4 points per $1)
- 3 points per $1 spent on dining (doubles to 6 points per $1)
- 1 point per $1 for all other spend (doubles to 2 points per $1)
RentFree™
This month, Bilt is welcoming social media superstar, Huddy for its new game show/contest. Bilt will pay ten people’s rent (up to $2,500) and provide the next 600 point prizes for the most guessed answers and the earliest replies. To enter, answer the question in the Bilt app and submit your answer today, here.
Point Quest™
Point Quest™ is Bilt’s trivia game (found in the app). You answer questions and can win up to 250 points this month.
Anthony’s Take: I look forward to the games and bonuses offered on Rent Day each month. Bilt makes paying bills fun and the points earned are valuable given the number of transfer partners that Bilt currently offers. The offers have been pretty meh lately. Hopefully, next month will include a travel partner bonus.
