Bilt is back with another Rent Day offer and this is the first month in a while where the specials are great and travel related. I wasn’t interested in the dining bonus last month, the Bilt Home Collection in May, fitness classes in April, or the March Madness offers. This month, the focus is on Alaska Airlines and miles bonuses as well as status matches for Bilt Rewards elite members.

Each month, Bilt makes the first of the month fun. It offers bonus opportunities, chances to win points playing a trivia game, and even a contest to win free rent (up to $2,500) for what it calls “Rent Day.” Bilt’s next Rent Day is today, July 1st. Bilt is a great program with lots of transfer partners and these Rent Day promos make it even sweeter. I am using the Bilt Mastercard® to pay rent on my winter place in Florida again and love it.

Bilt Alaska

Alaska Mileage Plan is Bilt Rewards’ newest airline transfer partner (more here). Today, Bilt is offering 25% to 100% transfer bonuses based on your elite level with Bilt Rewards. This breaks out as follows:

  • Bilt Platinum: 100% transfer bonus
  • Bilt Gold: 75% transfer bonus
  • Bilt Silver: 50% transfer bonus
  • Bilt Blue: 25% transfer bonus

The transfer is limited to 50,000 Bilt points per account. Additionally, ending today, elite members can get a status match. Bilt members will need to transfer 10,000 Bilt points to Alaska’s MileagePlan through a dedicated status match page. The 10,000 points transferred don’t qualify for the transfer bonus and are also outside of the 50,000 point transfer limit.

  • Bilt Platinum is matched to Alaska MVP Gold status
  • Bilt Gold is matched to Alaska MVP status

As always, on Rent Day you can earn bonus points. These include:

  • 1 point per $1 spent on rent
  • 2 points per $1 spent on travel (doubles to 4 points per $1)

  • 1 point per $1 for all other spend (doubles to 2 points per $1)

RentFree™

This month, Bilt is welcoming Brooklyn Beckham for its new game show/contest. Bilt will pay ten people’s rent (up to $2,500) and provide the next 600 point prizes for the most guessed answers and the earliest replies. To enter, answer the question in the Bilt app and submit your answer by today, July 1st, here.

Bilt Point Quest

Point Quest™

Point Quest™ is Bilt’s trivia game (found in the app). You answer questions and can win up to 250 points this month.

Anthony’s Take: I look forward to the games and bonuses offered on Rent Day each month. Bilt makes paying bills fun and the points earned are valuable given the number of transfer partners that Bilt currently offers. I’m happy to see a travel-related promo back this month.
