Each month, Bilt makes the first of the month fun. It offers bonus opportunities, chances to win points playing a trivia game, and even a contest to win free rent (up to $2,500) for what it calls “Rent Day.” Bilt is a great program with lots of transfer partners and these Rent Day promos make it even sweeter. I am using the Bilt Mastercard® to pay rent on my winter place in Florida again and love it. I have no other way to earn points or miles when paying rent (without fees). Even when it’s not Rent Day, Bilt Rewards points are a valuable, transferrable currency and Bilt keeps creating new opportunities to earn them.
Bilt Dining allows members to earn bonus points when dining out. Members can earn rewards at their favorite restaurants when using any credit or debit card linked to their Bilt account in addition to any points you’d earn from the credit card you’re using. Bilt’s Neighborhood Dining program has around 20,000 participating restaurants. Bilt members automatically earn points when using any linked Mastercard®, Visa®, or American Express® card at Neighborhood Rewards partners. Members can easily link their credit and debit cards to their Bilt account from the wallet tab.
Bilt members can earn between 2x to 10x Bilt Points when eating at a Bilt Dining restaurant and paying with a linked card. The expanded list offers lots more choices than what was previously offered through a curated list in select cities. Most major airline and hotel loyalty programs have similar dining programs and your linked card can only earn bonus points at one.
Anthony’s Take: I have used dining rewards programs that earned United MileagePlus miles and Marriott Bonvoy® points in the past. I’ll be switching to Bilt as I find the transferrable currency much more valuable.
