Breeze Airways is adding the 69th city to its route map. If you’re not familiar, Breeze Airways is a low-cost airline that offers point-to-point flights to underserved markets across the United States using a fleet of modern Airbus A220 aircraft. I flew Breeze again recently and enjoyed the experience (you can read the full review here). Travel & Leisure named it as one of the five best US airlines for the third consecutive year in 2024. Breeze now serves 69 cities in 30 states with the latest addition.
The airline will begin flying to Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO) in Greensboro, NC on June 6th. Nonstop flights to/from Hartford’s Bradley International Airport (BDL) and Orlando International Airport (MCO) will each run 2x weekly (on Mondays and Fridays). As with all new routes, Breeze is offering a discount on these two to celebrate their launch.

Allegiant Air, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines all currently fly to/from Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO), but none offer service to the two airports that Breeze is launching.
Anthony’s Take: Breeze offers convenient flights to many smaller airports across the United States. I last flew them a few weeks ago and appreciated the speedy Wi-Fi, snacks, and space provided in its Ascent Class.

I’m booked the first from GSO.
I like Breeze, but when things go wrong… I was flying them from SBD last week. The flight was delayed 4 hours due to the fact it was raining in California. Breeze sent messages all day saying we had to be at the airport on time because TSA was shutting down at scheduled departure time. Flight finally came from SFO… made two missed approaches and went back to SFO. I saw it on flight tracker apps. So did others. The agents lied until they got the police in position by their side then announced the cancelation. I have great video of them saying how Breeze doesn’t “allow” them to do any assistance or rebooking, so everyone needs to leave and go use the Breeze app. At an airport with no other flights, no other airlines, and no rental cars on site at night in the rain. I was able to figure out alternate travel plans and leap frogged two days ahead in my trip and just had to cancel some plans and caught up to where I’d be 48 hours later, but lots of people were confused. It took Breeze 5 hours to reply to my text message asking for assistance.
Wow. That’s awful. I guess I have been lucky the handful of times that I have flown Breeze.
