One of the great things about the Bilt Rewards program is the number of airline and hotel transfer partners it offers. The list is now one shorter as Hawaiian Airlines has dropped out.

Bilt lost American Airlines as a transfer partner back in June. The Bilt Rewards program will still offer transfers to the following airline partners:

  • Aer Lingus AerClub
  • Air Canada Aeroplan®
  • Air France/KLM Flying Blue®
  • Alaska Mileage Plan™
  • Avianca Lifemiles
  • British Airways Executive Club
  • Cathay Pacific
  • Emirates Skywards®
  • Iberia Plus
  • Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles
  • United MileagePlus®
  • Virgin Atlantic Flying Club

All of these are on a 1:1 basis except for when Bilt offers lucrative Rent Day bonuses up to 150% (like it did last year with Air Canada, Air France/KLM, and Virgin Atlantic. Bilt still has 1:1 transfers with Alaska Airlines. Once the merger is complete, HawaiianMiles will likely become part of Alaska’s Mileage Plan™.

Anthony’s Take: The logic behind not renewing this contract makes sense. Once the airlines merge, it should be possible to once again transfer and then redeem miles for Hawaiian Airlines’ flights through Alaska Mileage Plan™.
