Last month, I wrote about Awayz by Odin. The online tool makes it easy to search hotels to see if an awards redemption or paying cash makes more sense. Bilt Rewards continues to plug tools into its app and Awayz is the latest addition.
The Awayz tool can be found in the Travel tab of the Bilt Rewards app. Select Hotels in the navigation and enter your search criteria. Awayz allows you to search hotel award availability by location or individual hotels. The tool usually costs $11.99 per month for a premium subscription, but is free to use within the Bilt Rewards app.
I did a search for Dallas hotels and it quickly showed the points per night needed as well as the cash cost.
If you select Transfer Partners, the Bilt Rewards app will show you options for its partners: World of Hyatt and IHG Rewards. If you’re looking to take advantage of your elite benefits and to earn stay credits, I suggest transfers. Otherwise, You’re using an Expedia-powered booking engine and you will pass on all of the perks you have earned.
Anthony’s Take: The Bilt Rewards app continues to add functionality and get better each month. This latest addition, allows you to search for the best hotel deals with ease through Awayz.
