Bilt is back with another Rent Day offer and this month the focus is on a party co-hosted by Bilt and BLADE as well as a special package for cruises with Virgin Voyages. While these partnerships might not be as appealing as point transfer bonuses, these look pretty fun.
Each month, Bilt makes the first of the month fun. It offers bonus opportunities, chances to win points playing a trivia game, and even a contest to win free rent (up to $2,500) for what it calls “Rent Day.” Bilt’s next Rent Day occurs today, August 1st. Bilt is a great program with lots of transfer partners and these Rent Day promos make it even sweeter. I am using the Bilt Mastercard® to pay rent on my place in Florida again and love it.
Virgin Voyages
This month, Bilt and Virgin Voyages are teaming up for a special deal that’s only available through today, August 1st. This package includes:
- $100 bar tab
- Unlimited premium Wi-Fi
- Two specialty coffees per day
- Priority boarding
- Complimentary laundry service
- Exclusive cocktail experience
- Dedicated Sailor Services support
When you book a Sea Terrace, the second guest sails free. The terms include:
- Booking window: July 26th – August 1st

- Valid on new bookings only
To be eligible for the benefits above, you must complete registration in the Bilt app after making your Virgin Voyages booking. Members need to enter their name, email, and booking reference number in the Bilt app.
BLADE Summer Party
Bilt and BLADE recently began a partnership. It offers lounge access and free flights for Bilt Platinum members. I flew BLADE last August to New York John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK) (full review here) and found the experience fun and a huge timesaver. It’s not cheap, but it was a great way to avoid traffic. Bilt members and their guests are invited to an exclusive lounge party tonight at BLADE’s New York City lounges.
There were three different redemptions:
- Lounge Party Tickets: These cost $50 or 2,500 Bilt Points. Members can purchase up to four tickets and the event starts at 8:00 PM EST.
- Early Access Lounge Tickets: Platinum and Gold Bilt members can buy tickets for the same cost, but the party starts an hour earlier at 7:00 PM.
- Lounge Party and Flight Tickets (via BLADE Helicopter): Tickets cost $200 or 10,000 Bilt Points (a maximum of two tickets allowed per member). Guests must sign a waiver and arrive at the BLADE Lounge West at 7:00 PM
These are all sold out.
Bonus Points
As always, on Rent Day you can earn bonus points. These include:
- 1 point per $1 spent on rent
- 2 points per $1 spent on travel (doubles to 4 points per $1)
- 3 points per $1 spent on dining (doubles to 6 points per $1)
- 1 point per $1 for all other spend (doubles to 2 points per $1)
RentFree™
This month, Bilt is welcoming comedian, Jared Freid, for its game show/contest. Bilt will pay ten people’s rent (up to $2,500) and provide the next 600 point prizes for the most guessed answers and the earliest replies. To enter, answer the question in the Bilt app and submit your answer by today, August 1st, here.
Bilt Neighborhood Dining Series
One of the newest perks for Bilt Rent Day is a series of all-inclusive dining experiences. In August, this will feature 27 restaurants in 12 cities. Reservations start at $75 or 6,000 Bilt Points per guest. Reservations opened on July 29th at 12:00 PM EST in the Bilt app. I see three choices in Chicago including Girl & the Goat in my neighborhood there. There are still seats available at many of these restaurants.
Anthony’s Take: I look forward to the games and bonuses offered on Rent Day each month. Bilt makes paying bills fun and the points earned are valuable given the number of transfer partners that Bilt currently offers. I’m happy to see more travel-related promos back this month.
