Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is making travel more convenient thanks to a new partnership with Grubhub. Guests across the United States can now have food, essentials, and more delivered right to the hotel with $0 delivery fees and other perks.
The service is now available across Wyndham’s entire US portfolio of nearly 6,000 hotels (spanning 20 brands). Whether it’s late-night tacos, a forgotten toothbrush, or a quick meal after a long day of travel, everything is just a click away with the Grubhub app. Guests (and employees) can simply open the Grubhub app while on-site or scan a Grubhub QR code featured on select in-hotel marketing materials to order. A Wyndham-branded digital experience will pop up and allow them to activate a complimentary six-month Grubhub+ membership.
The Grubhub+ membership includes:
- $0 delivery fees on eligible orders
- Reduced service fees
- 5% credit back on eligible pickup orders
The offer is open to both hotel guests and employees and does not require a credit card to activate. Memberships will not auto-renew and the offer is available for a limited time at participating Wyndham properties. The partnership spans 20 of Wyndham’s iconic hotel brands, including:
- Days Inn® by Wyndham
- Super 8® by Wyndham
- La Quinta® by Wyndham
- Howard Johnson® by Wyndham
- Microtel® by Wyndham
I have never stayed at most of these brands, but they represent some of the most accessible across the United States and serve millions of travelers each year in cities, small towns, and roadside locations.
Charmaine Taylor, SVP, Strategic and Financial Partnerships at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, said:
Travel should be enjoyable, not stressful—and that’s exactly what Grubhub helps deliver. Whether it’s a late-night craving, forgotten essentials, or a last-minute need like a phone charger, anyone at one of our hotels can now get what they need, when they need it. With the added perks of Grubhub+, convenience and comfort are just a few taps away.”
Rob DelaCruz, VP and General Manager, Campus and Hospitality at Grubhub, added:
Wyndham has one of the largest footprints of any major hotel company in the U.S. Together, we’re elevating the on-property experience, delivering seamless convenience for not only the the hundreds of thousands of guests that walk through their doors every year, but also the tens of thousands of hotel team members who make those hotel stays possible.”
Anthony’s Take: I wrote about a similar partnership in December 2024 with Hilton and Grubhub. I love that more hotels are promoting delivery and making the experience seamless for guests.
