Bilt is back with another Rent Day offer and today the focus is on bonus points for transferring to Avianca LifeMiles, the opening of the BILT Cafe in New York, and more. It’s nice to see Bilt continuing with a travel-related special again this month.

Each month, Bilt makes the first of the month fun. It offers bonus opportunities, chances to win points playing a trivia game, and even a contest to win free rent (up to $2,500) for what it calls “Rent Day.” Bilt’s next Rent Day occurs today, Saturday, February 1st. Bilt is a great program with lots of transfer partners and these Rent Day promos make it even sweeter. I am using the Bilt Mastercard® to pay rent on my place in Florida again and love it.

Avianca Bilt

Bilt members can transfer points to Avianca LifeMiles with bonuses based on their status today. These bonuses are as follows:

  • Bilt Blue members: 20% transfer bonus
  • Bilt Silver members: 40% transfer bonus
  • Bilt Gold members: 50% transfer bonus
  • Bilt Platinum: 100% transfer bonus

Avianca is member of Star Alliance and LifeMiles can be used for travel with other member airlines like Lufthansa, SWISS, United Airlines, and Air Canada. Miles must be transferred in 1,000-point increments and Bilt Blue members must transfer a minimum of 2,000 points. I am a Gold member, so my bonus offer is 50%.

Bilt NYC Cafe

Bilt Neighborhood Cafe Opened In NYC

Capital One has had cafes for some time and I have long questioned why. Bilt opened a cafe on the ground floor of its office building at 31 Bond Street in New York City. To celebrate, Bilt began offering hot or iced black coffee and a chocolate chip cookie to 50 people per day since January 27th. Today (February 1st), up to 500 members can partake. This will be available until 4:00 PM today.

Bilt members can also purchase limited-edition apparel and homeware inspired by Bond Street at the cafe and in the app. These include everything from “premium branded sweatshirts to hand-crafted ceramic coffee mugs.”

Bilt J Balvin

Tickets for J Balvin’s “Back to the Rayo” Tour

J Balvin is a Colombian singer. With this Rent Day offer, you can get two floor-seats for his “Back to the Rayo” tour and a canister of a Colombian special-edition coffee blend for 10,000 Bilt points or $200. These are valued at $400 and include these concert dates:

  • Atlanta (State Farm Arena): March 20th
  • Miami (Kaseya Center): March 22nd
  • New York City (Barclays Center): March 30th
  • Boston (Agganis Arena): April 4th
  • Las Vegas (Michelob Ultra Arena): May 3rd
  • Los Angeles (Kia Forum): May 9th

RentFree™

This month, Bilt is welcoming J Balvin, for its game show/contest. Bilt will pay ten people’s rent (up to $2,500). The next 600 will win point prizes for the most guessed answers and the earliest replies. To enter, answer the questions in the Bilt app and submit your answer by today, February 1st.

Anthony’s Take: I look forward to the games and bonuses offered on Rent Day each month. Bilt makes paying bills fun and the points earned are valuable given the number of transfer partners that Bilt currently offers.
